Resource

Becoming an effective mathematics teacher means being familiar with curriculum and resources, as well as providing active learning opportunities for all students. As in every academic discipline, students bring diverse experiences, a wide range of ability and varying levels of motivation and enthusiasm for the subject to the classroom.

Books published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) referenced in this module should be obtained from your school or local public library. Web links are provided for these documents, but a hardcopy version is recommended as a valuable addition to your library.
